No data collection
Every image you open in Raw Photo Editor is processed entirely inside your browser using WebGL2 and WebAssembly. There is no server-side processing, no cloud pipeline, and no telemetry. The pixels on your screen are computed on your machine and nowhere else.
No uploads
Your files never leave the browser tab. When you open a RAW file, it is read directly into memory on your device. When you export, the result is written to your local file system. At no point does any image data travel over the network.
No cookies
Raw Photo Editor does not set tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. There are no cookie banners because there are no cookies to consent to.
No accounts
There is no registration and no login, and nothing about you is stored on our servers. You open the editor and start working. That is the entire onboarding process.
No third-party requests
There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no session recording, and no ad network scripts. Fonts and every other asset are served from this site, so opening a page does not contact anyone but our host.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. That covers loading the site's pages and code — your photos and edits are never sent. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how they handle this data.
What stays in your browser
So you can close the tab and pick up where you left off, the editor keeps a few things in your browser's own storage. They never leave your device.
- Your edits. The settings of each photo you edit (slider values, masks, crop, heal spots), with the file's name and size so the edit can be matched to it next time. Never the photo itself. Up to 500 photos are kept; the least recently edited are dropped first.
- Your presets and editor preferences, such as panel density and keyboard shortcut settings.
You can remove saved edits at any time in the editor under Settings → Saved edits, or clear everything by deleting this site's data in your browser settings. Some browsers ask once whether the site may keep its storage; saying no only means the browser may clear saved edits when space runs low.
